Summer is the perfect time to soften all the scratchy towels. Just hang the freshly washed towels on a clothesline outside on a windy day.

4. Brush Those Hard Towels

This way may seem a little weird, but trust us, it’s not. It’s one of the tried and tested techniques to soften your towels. All you need to do is lay the towel flat on your bed, then grab an old brush from your dressing and brush out the towel in one direction. Make sure you get through all the fibers of the towel. When you’re done with one side, flip it over and repeat the process.
